Fauth Rudene

Faith Rudene is our new addition. She was born 3/6/09 and I purchased her from a breeder named Matt Miller in S.Ohio. We love her very much, she will be our new mother dog in a couple years. She will only whelp 3 litters before retirement, but guaranteed to throw sealed brindles. These our some recent pics of our new baby. Just double click for a bigger image.

  We had new babies on Sunday August 23, 2009. Mom is Marley Sue-1/2 Boxer 1/2 Amer. Bulldog, Father is Odin Trudeau-100% Boxer. Pictures will be posted soon!

  There are 3 brindle pups(1 is a flashy female), 1 White (male), two male and two females. Tails are docked but not dew claws. They will be available to go home at 6 wks after they've had their vaccination. A $100.00 deposit will hold the pup of your choice-all deposits are nonrefundable. A deposit is a commitment to purchase the pup, and will be accepted after the weaning process is complete (about 4 wks old). Feel free to contact us with any questions any time.

 * The lack of pigment in a young white boxer is a handicap when it comes to playing in the sun.

 

Jinx experienced a heat stroke when he was 5 months old after only 3 hrs. outside on a summer day. We had taken him with us to a family reunion. Jinx was not in the sun the entire time, but it is impossible to determine how much exposure to the sun he had taken in. There was a pool in the neighbors yard and I scooped him up and threw him in. Jinx likes to swim, but he could not stop panting so I had to support him at the surface for a minute before rushing him to the doc. He stayed there until his temperature was back to normal. It was very scary and It never happened again.

As and he grew his freckeled belly changed into sploches of pigment on his skin, and as that happened he could remian outside for longer and longer periods of time. As an adult the sun is still a minor risk, but it is just a concern in my day not a "rule of the house".
